The sickly biologist Birch (the protagonist) and his brother Alamo, who works as a language teacher, are among the few people in the building who can remain conscious. To escape from here, Birch came up with a brilliant plan: he hoped to create a controllable "monster" to give himself the power to contend with evil spirits. For this reason, he took a huge risk and searched for three "key materials" in the various abandoned laboratories of the building.
